The Hobbit: Riddles in the Dark

Step into Middle-earth and relive one of the most memorable moments from The Hobbit in The Hobbit: Riddles in the Dark™, the first licensed title in Grand Gamers Guild’s acclaimed 18Escape series.

Bilbo Baggins has found himself face-to-face with Gollum deep beneath the Misty Mountains, and there’s only one way out: win the riddle contest.

Designed as a compact, narrative-driven puzzle adventure, The Hobbit: Riddles in the Dark transforms Bilbo and Gollum’s iconic exchange into an escape room-style experience. Solve puzzles, follow the story, and put your wits to the test as you navigate the darkness alongside one of Middle-earth’s most famous characters.

Designed by Jonathan Chaffer and illustrated by Kwanchai Moriya, the game combines the inventive puzzle-solving of 18Escape with the rich world of Tolkien’s The Hobbit.

The Hobbit: Riddles in the Dark™ marks a major milestone for 18Escape as its first title featuring a licensed intellectual property.

Prepare your wits, enter the darkness, and see if you can out-riddle Gollum.
